Description

A large white cone-like outline dominates a heavily worked dark field: a broad oval rim spans the upper centre and two white sides taper toward a point below. Turquoise, red, black and pale marks remain visible beneath and around the white form.

History

Cone uses the same physical canvas as the earlier Work Bubbles. Bubbles was buried and severely damaged. After excavation, the canvas was conserved and restored, then reworked into Cone.

170217 OlyaA pale tan angular outline occupies much of the field, crossed near the bottom by a long dark rust stroke. A green outlined form sits at lower right beneath a cyan angular contour, with smaller pink and grey marks held in the surrounding pale ground.
