Authorial Comment

When we were making this video, we lived in the atelier of our friend Joachim in Karlsruhe. Then we had an immense irritation caused by artists' academic habit to talk a lot, noting themselves in the actual discourse. We were more interested in media, particularly the media of text, light, and video.

170716 God Invented the CyclistAn installation/action environment made for the Karlsruhe Academy summer exhibition from a modified exercise-bike construction, the altered exhibition room and About Communication. At the opening the bike was activated by the artists and offered for audience participation; the Work later continued outside the room when the construction was placed on an empty pedestal at the Academy entrance.
