Metamorphosis completed a drift from Moscow to Mannheim undertaken by the artists with almost no money, travelling via Greece. The route itself and the artists’ belongings served as material for the work. On the morning of 19 July 2018, they entered Port25 with the things they had carried on the journey, left them on the floor as they arrived, and set up their tent. The video projected onto the tent had been filmed throughout the journey and ended with the artists entering the exhibition hall itself. Anton edited the material on site immediately after arrival and the finished video was projected onto the tent. Its 43-minute-23-second duration became the temporal score for the sound performance.
