241224 Leaves from a Big Tree

There is no Christmas without a Christmas album. We present: "Leaves from a Big Tree." Pure magic in two movements. Movement One was produced in Hamburg this year. Movement Two was recorded on Christmas Night in 2017 in the hall of the ZKM Museum in Karlsruhe. The building was completely empty, making it our very own Christmas Mass.

Sound coincides with time, it clearly has a beginning and an end. It flows for a moment before completely disappearing. But there is something that remains, sound has consequences for us. These consequences are a trace of time, and that trace has value and meaning for us. Sound consequences reside in conditions where there is no time, that is, exist forever.
